The Associate Degree in Event Planning and Management is a highly intensive training programme that prepares students with the requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes for employment in the event planning industry.
Students will be exposed to real-world learning experiences acquiring skills in planning and executing a variety of successful corporate and social events, marketing (traditionally and through social media), finance, budgeting, contract and risk management. The programme also provides training in entrepreneurship and small business management to equip students with the self-employment skills required to operate a successful event planning business.

In order to be eligible for entry, applicants must satisfy one of the following:
A minimum of five (5) CSEC or GCE O’Level subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.

OR

NVQ-J Level 2 certification or above in related area PLUS English Language, Mathematics and 2 other CSEC or GCE O’Level subjects

OR

Mature/Non-traditional entry requirement
Must be at least 23 years old
has at least three (3) years work experience in the core area for which further training is sought
has relevant certification in the area of interest
Letter confirming employment in the relevant industry for at least 2 years
