The Post Graduate Diploma in Learning Technologies is designed for teachers who are desirous of pursuing a career in designing engaging and enriching online learning environment. Learners will be exposed to a wide range of theoretical and practical approaches to a technology integrated world of learning. These will include an in-depth understanding of the issues, perspectives, best practices, models and theories of learning technologies that are geared towards meeting the diversities in the classroom and their impact on the teaching and learning process.

Learners will also learn how to develop a technology-rich virtual learning environment by applying animations and graphic design to accentuate the inclusiveness for all learners, design and create digital educational games and simulations, develop digital documentation, produce and edit professional finish auditory and visual forms of communication, create E-learning assessment instruments for a variety of web-based learning platforms. This programme will be delivered fully online which will be enriched by emphasis on STEM principles and employability skills and entrepreneurship. Infused throughout the programme are elements that will fulfil the mantra of the local and global learning environment.
